Audience Segmentation

Definition:  a process of dividing people into homogeneous subgroups based upon defined criterion such as product usage, demographics, psychographics, communication behaviors and media use.

EXAMPLES:

- Gender
- Age
- Lifestyle
- Ethnicity/ Race
- Income
- Interests 
- Social class
- Personality

We then paired up and were set on a task of matching the jobs with social class as seen by the sheet below.
